3D Print Batman Set Gets the Most Cosplay Guinness World Record
As a popular comic hero, Batman is the most intriguing high-tech gadgets on his body. To this end, with the help of 3D printing , Irish special effects expert Julian Checkley, who is a Batman fan, has created the most versatile Batman set to date, and thus won the Guinness World Record for the 2017 Gamer Edition. It is reported that this 3D printed Batman set has installed up to 23 different small devices, and has now been officially named by the Guinness World Records as the world's most powerful Cosplay set.
In fact, more than a year ago, we reported on the 3D printed Batman set made by JulianCheckley and its Order66CreaturesandEffects team, but at that time it was not as powerful. The shape of the entire suit is entirely from the video game "Batman: Arkham Origins", the armor is all printed in 3D using urethane material. As for the digital modeling of each component, all are based on computer games. The resulting shape was exactly the same as what we saw on TV, and the Order66 also shot a video.
In addition to selling well, the biggest feature of this suit is that Checkley has installed a variety of gadgets, and these things are not just furnishings, they also have certain functions, these devices include: smoke bombs, grab hooks Guns, GPS-based bat trackers, UV lights, bat respirators (protective nuclear, bacteria, and chemical weapons), and even projectors that send bat signals to the night sky (well, maybe it doesn't project so much) high).
Of course, these devices are not as dangerous as every one, but they all look very high. The fireball ejector can really spray the flames! Others such as ultrasonic anti-dog equipment, pneumatic sedative guns, laser pointers, gas ejector and concealed throat microphones all have a distinct Batman style. The maker himself likes gas injectors. "As soon as you turn your wrist, it will spurt out gas, it may be a toxic gas, or it can be anything," he said. Of course, bat darts are indispensable.
According to Checkley, some of these gadgets are actually very complicated, so he had to ask an electrical engineer to help them—especially the 2000-watt EMP stun gun is the most challenging. "We spent a lot of time making these gadgets and hiding them somewhere in the suit. They are all very classic, but some are only available in "Batman: The Origin of A-Gump". I am proud to be able to get Kyrgyzstan. Nice world record," Checkley said.
It is understood that this record will appear in the latest "Guinness World Record: Game Player Edition 2017" published on September 8.
