Swatch once again become the main partner of Venice International Art Biennale

Committed to building a bridge between Eastern and Western cultures, Swatch is currently working with four international artists living in the Art Center at Peace Hotel Shanghai to organize their Faces & Traces theme at Arsenale's Sale d'Armi B exhibition. Since 2011, Swatch has set up an Artist Living Scheme, over 220 artists have been successively enrolled in this landmark hotel in the Bund. This art hotel is located in Shanghai, the most dynamic and ever-changing city in China. The Art Hotel has created two floors in particular as art studios and living rooms from artists around the world, while also setting aside ample creative space for interactive exchange, performance and exhibition of works.

Another must-see in the 2017 Venice Biennale is the Giardini exhibition area, home to 30 national palaces that carry historical significance. Swatch will be exhibiting in its exclusive pavilion a great work by a renowned contemporary artist, along with a special edition of the artist's wristwatch.

This year the world's most prestigious contemporary art exhibition is curated by curator Christine Macel and Swatch will be in the coming weeks and at a press conference scheduled to open in Venice's Arsenale Pavilion on May 11, 2017 Unveil more debut at the Biennale, so stay tuned!
