Cellophane printing features and precautions

Affected by the change in tension, the film in the printing process, in the allowable range of strength, the elongation increases with the increase of the tension, to the accuracy of the color printing overprinting difficulties, according to the type and scale of the substrate material Rate to adjust the tension, such as PE film expansion rate is relatively large, the tension value should be smaller; for paper or PET, OPP and other low elasticity rate of the plastic film, the tension can be appropriately larger. Smooth surface, hairless pores exist, the ink layer is not easy to fix or firmly fixed, after the first color printing is completed, it is easy to be stuck by the ink of the next color overprint, so that the pattern and text are incomplete, causing defects; therefore, the printing process should be carried out Drying, the temperature of the drying box can not be too high, otherwise it will easily cause shrinkage deformation of substrate materials, especially PE film.

Cellophane, also known as transparent paper, can be used to package a variety of high-end products, and is a decorative high-end packaging. Cellophane is essentially composed of regenerated cellulose. The manufacturing method is completely different from that of ordinary paper. The raw material is bleached chemical wood pulp or cotton pulp. Cellophane is characterized by a certain moisture resistance, high elongation requirements, suitable for color printing, high transparency, gloss, airtight, impervious, impervious to oil, better sealing.

After it is used to package items, it can prevent rust, moisture, and pollution. However, cellophane also has drawbacks: large longitudinal strength, low transverse strength, poor tearing, and a slight tear that breaks. The cellophane also has hydrophilicity, so it can absorb moisture, and it often occurs after water contact, and when the paper is heated, it easily sticks into pieces. The characteristics of cellophane are high transparency and strong gloss. After the printing of graphic and text, the color is particularly bright. This is not achieved by the plastic film; the printing adaptability is good; no treatment is required before printing, and the cellophane also has antistatic treatment performance. Adsorption of dust avoids the occurrence of printing failures such as sticky dust. However, the moisture-proof property is poor, and the film is easily deformed due to the influence of temperature and humidity, resulting in difficulty in registering the image when printing.
