2019 The world's most valuable top ten chemical brands released

The brand evaluation agency Brand Finance recently released "2019 the world's 10 most valuable chemical brands." In the past year, BASF has grown its brand value by 11% to 8.3 billion, ranking first in the world's most valuable chemical brands.
BASF's brand value is driven by the launch of a new strategy that includes ambitious new targets, greater organic growth and accelerated expansion in Asia, especially in China.
BASF will face serious competition from the Dowdupont Company, which merged in 2017. Dow's brand is ranked 6.8 billion, ranking second; the DuPont brand has grown by 21% in the past year to 3.3 billion, ranking fifth.
Saudi Petrochemical giant Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) became the top 10 new entrant in 2018, ranking third, with a steady increase in brand value of 6.5% to 4 billion US dollars.
South Korea's LG Chem has the fastest growth rate, and its brand value has increased by 38% to 3.3 billion US dollars, rising from the fifth to the fourth, surpassing DuPont.
The new entrant in 2019 was the American Lyondellbasell, whose brand value rose 32% to 3.1 billion, ranking sixth.
The 7-10 are: French Air Liquide Group, Mitsubishi Chemical of Japan, Praxair of the United States and Asahi Kasei of Japan.
