U.S. Owens produces multi-layer plastic bottles

U.S. Owens Corporation began production of a highly protective multilayer plastic bottle. This type of plastic bottle uses four plastics as raw materials and is made into a six-layer plastic bottle. Its advantage is that it can pass through a low concentration of oxygen. The company uses these plastic bottles for oxidizing foods such as fruit juices, seasoned tomato sauces, barbecued meats, and condiments to increase the shelf life of the packaging and may replace cans in the future. In addition, the company also produces multilayer plastic films for packaging retorts.
