Germany develops new packaging materials

Recently, Germany has developed a new process for the production of environmentally friendly foam paper that can replace foam packaging materials. The technology was successfully developed by Pasper (PSP) in Bremen.

The technology can use old newspaper scraps and flour as raw materials, chopped these waste paper raw materials, milled into pulp, then mixed with flour in a 2:1 ratio, and finally extruded. As the raw material is foamed by water vapor, foam paper is formed.

Foam paper has the characteristics of simple production process, low cost, no chemical additives, and high economic and environmental benefits.
