For this reason, the State banned the production of foamed plastic fast food utensils on several occasions, but with little success. In the late 1990s, “white pollution” became increasingly serious. The regulations stipulate that by the end of 2000, the foam plastic fast food boxes will be completely eliminated, and environmentally-friendly pulp molding, starch, and vegetable fiber catering tools will be used instead. The State Economic and Trade Commission announced the national standard for disposable degradable fast-food appliances. The products involved are paper-based catering equipment. The products are mainly wood pulp, eucalyptus pulp, or bagasse pulp as raw materials; plant fiber catering tools, mainly rice Wastes from shells or crops such as wheat straw, rice straw, and corn cobs are used as main raw materials; starch-based food and beverage appliances mainly use potato flour as the main raw material; and photodegradable biodegradable non-foam plastic plastic tableware, mainly polypropylene. At the same time, detailed environmental protection and quality standards have been stipulated for these disposable, fast-food appliances made from these new environmentally-friendly packaging materials. At present, there are many environmentally-friendly green packaging materials that can replace foamed plastics on the market, mainly including the use of plant fibers such as jute fiber and potato starch as main raw materials, and packaging materials made by press molding technology. The strength of such packaging materials is superior to that of glass. Fiber, and very light weight, can be degraded; tableware produced from the date palm leaves of jujube tree, its material structure is almost similar to the structure of velvet wood, widely used in the production of packaging materials and pellets; using almonds Shells, coconut shells, and walnut shells are used as raw materials. After being crushed, they are mixed with natural or synthetic resins, and are formed by pressing or injection. They are made of imitation wood material. After processing, they not only have good thermoplasticity, but also have an elegant appearance and delicate touch. , Suitable for packaging high-end products; bio-plastic packaging materials made of various starch or sugar as basic raw materials, can withstand molding, injection, extrusion or stretching processing when processing. Of course, replacing foam with paper pulp is the most economical, and egg packaging, which is currently on the market, is both delicate and reduces the damage of eggs. Rejecting “white pollution”, using degradable green packaging, and cleaning the earth to create a clean and beautiful living environment for future generations is every citizen’s responsibility.
