Solvent-free offset inks are freshly baked

Solvent-free inks and aromatic-free solvent inks are environmentally friendly inks. They have been gradually promoted in the printing industry. The United States, Japan, and other countries have taken various environmental regulations into consideration, such as reducing the emission of organic compounds into the atmosphere. Reducing the amount of IPA (isopropanol) and alcohol in the fountain solution, ie controlling the evaporation of IPA and organic matter into the atmosphere, endangers the health of the human body, and thus also promotes the development of environment-friendly inks. With the establishment of China's accession to the WTO and the establishment of OSHA, the awareness of environmental protection has also increased. In particular, the food packaging industry is gradually demanding the use of non-toxic, non-aromatic, environmentally friendly inks for printing. Therefore, according to the requirements of the market, China's ink manufacturing industry has actively invested in the development of non-toxic, non-polluting environmentally friendly inks. The TNV type offset printing solventless ink (hereinafter referred to as TNV type ink) that this text will discuss is a kind of new environmental protection ink.
Characteristics of TNV inks 1. Features TNV offset solventless inks mainly include TNV-yellow, TNV-magenta, TNV-blue, and TNV-black. The characteristics are shown in the following aspects.
(1) In the TNV type ink, the content of mineral oil is ≤ 1%; no solvent is volatilized into the air during the printing and drying process, which is an ideal environment-friendly product;
(2) Non-toxic, low taste, suitable for packaging and printing;
(3) It has good water resistance, ink balance and machine stability, and can meet the high-speed printing needs of more than 10,000 printings per hour;

(4) It has excellent anti-friction performance and drying performance. It is suitable for printing on coated paper, and it can also be used for the printing of products with high requirements on the friction resistance of ink film;
(5) Has good printing adaptability and transferability, clear printing dots, bright color, high concentration, good gloss;
(6) It has good vividness, transparency and grey balance stability and is suitable for four-color printing.
2. Characteristics of TNV Offset Solvent-free Inks The characteristics of TNV Offset Solvent-Free Inks have fluidity, viscosity, SR, fixation, and drying time. The specific values ​​are shown in Table 1.
3. The tolerance value of the TNV type offset printing solventless ink is suitable for the offset printing process and the use requirements of printed products. The offset printing ink needs to have certain resistance. The resistance indexes of the conventional testing include the acid resistance, alkali resistance, light resistance, and water resistance of the ink. Alcohol resistance, tolerance indicators of TNV type offset printing inks are shown in Table 2.
4. The difference between solvent-free ink and general offset light fast-drying ink The difference between solvent-free offset ink and offset light fast-drying ink is that solvent-free ink does not emit volatiles in the drying process, and the content of film-forming material is high. The test results are shown in the table. 3 shows.
As can be seen from Figure 1, the solvent amount and volatile content of the TNV type solventless ink is almost zero, and the content of the film forming material is much higher than that of the general offset bright fast drying ink. It can be seen from Fig. 2 that after the solventless ink is printed on the paper, not only the solvent is not volatilized, but also no solvent penetrates into the paper. Almost all substances are fixed on the surface of the paper, thereby improving the anti-friction performance of the print.

Application of TNV ink
TNV offset solventless ink is suitable for four-color offset printing of substrates such as coated paper, offset paper and matt paper (matt coated paper). It is an ideal ink for printing high-grade albums, magazines, trademarks, brochures and delicate paper packaging.
Under normal circumstances, TNV type solventless ink can be used after opening the lid, without adjustment, there are special requirements, can be used to match the adjuvant to adjust the ink, adjust the ink with the following adjuvant:
(1) TPP-161 varnish. Adjust ink and ink, use when the ink has small fluidity and high viscosity.
(2) TPP-051 anti-adhesion agent. When the four-color printing machine has a dirty print, it can be added to the last color ink.
(3) TPP-427 red dry oil. The additive can accelerate the ink drying speed, and the additive can be added in a small amount when the ink is dried slowly.

Through testing, it can be known that TNV-type offset printing solvent-free ink not only has no harmful gas during use, but also is environmentally friendly, and the printing effect is good. It is believed that this type of environmentally-friendly ink will gradually replace the traditional offset printing ink.
