Polenghi produces a low-carbon beverage bottle

Polenghi produces a new low-carbon beverage bottle package. Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) are polyolefin materials commonly used in extrusion blow molding processes for the manufacture of squeezed "soft" plastic bottles for food and personal care products. From the point of view of the resin production process, the production of IngeoTM biomaterials can reduce the release of 38% of carbon dioxide and 45% of energy consumption compared to the production of the same weight of low-density polyethylene resin. Compared with polypropylene resin, the production of IngeoTM bioplastic can reduce the release of 31.6% of carbon dioxide and reduce energy consumption by 42%.
