If you record a favorite thing every day, your life will not be the same after one hundred days.

Australian painter Zoe Young lives in New South Wales with her husband's children. In the blue cabin surrounded by green trees, taking her children and paintings makes her a normal life.

Her paintings are always remembered by the use of eclectic color techniques, the unique perspective of the landscape, and the creation of a casual lifestyle. A book, a plate of cucumbers, and a laundry basket can all be the protagonists in her paintings.

As a child, Zoe Young, whose parents and restaurants run across New South Wales, lived in different places all year round - Jindabyne in winter, Bowral in spring, and Double Bay in summer. When she was bored, she sat in the corner of the restaurant and grung with a notepad. My parents praised her talent and printed her graffiti on the restaurant menu. This allowed her to begin to confident in her painting and design skills.

At that time, she liked to find resonance in her grandfather's art collection. The paintings and styles she had been obsessed with were hidden in her works. For example, she presented Benjamin Edwin Minns's print "Aboriginal mother & child" (1925) in her own work "Ode to Minns" (2017), and made a long talk with the artists of the past through time and space.

At the age of thirty, Young decided to make a choice between painting and design. She chose the former and returned to school to earn a degree.

Now she wants to build a studio next to her home. This allows you to cook while working, to achieve a balance between taking care of your child and completing the painting – having the opportunity to live with the children while enjoying the balance of your own time.

In this series - "Space between Hours", Zoe Young uses fresh and harmonious progressive colors. The color that was picked up by it seemed to be covered with a gray filter, and after abandoning the bright high saturation, the picture was more quiet and elegant.

“This series is a naked expression of my extremely personal lifestyle and living environment. I tried to extract my past experiences on these canvases and record the seemingly ordinary but unique moments in my daily life. Essentially, This series of exhibitions is actually a tribute, a tribute to my childhood, my present and what I love in life - food, nature, color."

Maybe when you try to collect what you think of in your life, you will feel that everything is amazing.
