2. Quality Control Points Production Environment
In the production of offset printing, the following points must be strictly controlled in order to achieve the aforementioned quality requirements.
(1) Design standard of film
The four-color offset printing press is required to set the position when imposition is required to save adjustment time. Therefore, the position and width of the film on the printing line are particularly important. It is related to the accuracy of the registration when the product is printed.
In addition, the requirements for the number of screens and positive/negative screens cannot be ignored. It involves the overall effect of printing.
(2) Control of exposure time
The length of the exposure time determines whether the image level on the film can be effectively reflected on the unwatermarked version. If the exposure time is too long, the dot will increase and a partial stencil will appear. If the exposure time is too short, the dot layer will be lost. We usually use a gray ladder to measure accurately
Exposure time.
(3) Control of brush pressure in plater
The size of the brush pressure is directly related to whether the excess silicone on the plate can be completely removed, that is, whether the ink can be washed out.
(4) The adjustment of the machine itself is also very important
The adjustment of the machine itself mainly includes the registration accuracy that can be achieved by itself, and the temperature and humidity control of the watermark-free installation platform. Adjustment of the transfer pressure, etc. In addition, the pressure between the ink rollers is also a factor that affects the print quality.
In production, in order to realize the maximum productivity of the printing press, it is necessary to print the disc with the same thickness of the disc for printing the same type of graphic. When printing different colors. It is necessary to first print a dark color system and a dark color system. Only in this way can we maximize production efficiency and ensure product quality.
Three digital printing
Since offset printing consumes more test machine trays at the beginning of production, and it takes more time to colorize, with the development of science and technology, digital printing is gradually applied to the printing of discs.
At present, the so-called digital printing of all manufacturers uses inkjet printing, but inkjet printing is divided into the following categories due to different equipment.
1. Printed with an improved personal inkjet printer
This method is slow, the cost is high, the surface of the optical disc needs to be processed, the ink has no durability after printing, and it is not suitable for industrial use.
2. Printed with improved industrial inkjet printers
(1) Multi-line printing
As with the paper printing method, the number of discs is arranged, and printing is performed 5-10 times to complete a pattern.
(2) Print once
The ink jet heads are arranged side-by-side (with a width of 1 20 mm or more) and can be printed in a single sheet. This method has enormous potential for development. It is possible to print different patterns or numbers for each sheet, but the use of inkjet heads is more expensive.
3. Using industrial inkjet printers
Industrial ink-jet printers use uV-curable inks that can be printed directly on general optical discs or white-on-white inks with good durability. Japan Culture Seiko Co., Ltd. first introduced a high-speed digital printer for optical discs using a UV curable ink. Its superiority is mainly manifested in the following aspects.
(1) No need for film and plate, reducing initial investment costs, saving operating costs and management costs. With advanced digital printing technology, digital images produced by computers can be directly transmitted to printing machines for printing. Therefore, it is not necessary to separate the color film and the plate making process, and it is not necessary to change the plate, store the plate, film, and cleaning ink. It can greatly increase the production efficiency of equipment and reduce production costs.
(2) It does not require the use of a test machine CD, and the printing quality is very stable. The biggest advantage of the digital printer is that it does not require a color adjustment process. The first optical disc that started printing can meet the quality requirements of the product, and can ensure that the first and the last disc that started printing have the same print quality. The color fluctuations in production are far less than the printing methods such as offset printing.
(3) Non-contact printing method, suitable for printing of recordable media discs
When the printing does not touch the optical disc, it can reduce the risk of scratching or scratching the optical disc during the printing process. In particular, when printing a recordable media disc, the recording layer is not damaged, and high-quality printing that could not be achieved by a previous offset printing method can be achieved.
This method is still in the early stages of development, and the printing quality on the optical disc is still not able to achieve the effect of paper printing, and the disc printing effect is slightly inferior to the other two printing methods. In addition, the cost of printing equipment is also high. There is still some distance in the large-scale application of the Chinese optical disc market.
