Kraton Introduces Alternative to PVC Stretch Film

U.S. Kraton Polymers has introduced products that have proven to be able to replace flexible PVC stretch-wrapping films. This alternative product has been used for food packaging in Europe and Asia.
The company recommends the use of its Kraton SBC copolymer, which has elasticity, hardness, puncture resistance, high oxygen permeability, moisture resistance, and low permanent deformation (to prevent fingerprints and dents formed during handling). ).
Kraton copolymers were blended with polypropylene and co-extruded with EVA to produce a monolayer film for food wrapping. This lightweight, thin film is said to reduce packaging costs.
