New Kodak Proofing Software Launches

On March 7th, the latest version of the KODAK PROFILE WIZARD Mio color management software was introduced to assist design and prepress staff in creating more accurate and stable colors at each step in print production.

PROFILE WIZARD Proofing Software generates ICC files that guarantee color stability on any input device, monitor, and output device. The 3.1.100 version of PROFILEWIZARD Mio software not only extends and enhances this performance again, but also has a higher degree of editorial accuracy and greater functionality.

PROFILE WIZARD color management software is based on the ICC (International Color Consortium) standard and meets the requirements of the ICC 2.0 version. The 3.1.100 version of the PROFILE WIZARD Mio software satisfies ICC 4.0 requirements and will appear in the ICC 4.0 version compatible product list on the ICC website. Through the ICC file, the ICC standard defines the color conversion mode between devices. These ICC files enable the integrity of colors across workflows when color information is transmitted from one device to another.

The PROFILE WIZARD software includes a full suite of ICC file editing tools that provide control of gradation, brightness and saturation, gray balance, white point, and color correction. Users can easily create and control ICC files, including device link files and manyColors files for six-color devices. Editing tools and manyColors tools are available separately.
