Shanghai developed a new sealing material

Shanghai Synthetic Resin Research Institute recently developed a multifunctional new-type polyurethane foam sealant that passed the inspection of the National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.

The product is a new generation of one-component polyurethane foam sealant, with excellent thermal insulation, low water absorption, adhesive elasticity and flame retardancy, and uniform cell foam, large early foaming, long storage period. Because of its uniform cell, the shrinkage after solidification is small, so it can be used in winter. The product is suitable for a variety of building materials required sealing plugging, insulation insulation, fill the gaps, fixed and bonded, especially for plastic steel, steel or aluminum alloy doors and windows and wall sealing, waterproof and sound insulation.

After many experiments with this new type of foam caulking agent, it not only fully achieved the effects of sealing and plugging, sound-insulating and flame-retarding, insulation and insulation, but also used butane and vinylidene fluoride as foaming agents to change the previous use. The freon process also plays an active role in protecting the atmospheric oxygen layer.
