Application of supporting materials and equipment for flexographic printing technology

At present, China cannot produce high-net-length, long-life anilox rollers. Some high-quality, high-precision printing inks and special-purpose inks, four-color screening inks and UV inks have not yet been produced. Therefore, most of the supporting materials used in our country rely almost entirely on imports. The annual import volume is about 600 million yuan, which increases the cost of flexo printing, making the current cost of domestic flexo printing more expensive than gravure and offset printing (because gravure and offset printing in our country After more than 20 years of development, equipment and materials have been domestically produced, so no matter the cost of equipment investment or the cost of plate making and post-processing, the cost has been greatly reduced. This led to the weak price competitiveness of flexo printing in the packaging market in China, and the acceptance of flexo printing in the packaging market was not high.

As a unique printing method, the production technology of flexo presses is yet to be developed. At present, China has been able to produce small-scale, low-grade flexo presses, but also need to improve the quality and fineness, and now more mature is 136 lines / in or 150 lines / in. Offset printing and gravure printing are very mature for 175 lines/in. In addition, most of the equipment introduced in the 1980s had reached the renewal period, and there was no capital for re-introduction.
