Vacuum aluminum-plated paper is a kind of environmentally-friendly green packaging material, which is currently popular and widely used in the world. Because of its noble and beautiful metal texture, stable and reliable printing performance, and biodegradable, recyclable environmental protection properties, it is more and more popular. And its price is cheaper than aluminum foil nearly 2,000 yuan / t, so this product has a strong market competitiveness. Since 1992, after the vacuum aluminum-plated waterproof label paper began to enter the Chinese beer bottle packaging market, it quickly spread. Since 1993, vacuum aluminum-plated (gray) cardboard has been used in domestically produced liquor, cosmetics, food, and gift packaging markets. Since 1997, vacuum aluminum-coated cardboard has entered the domestic cigarette packaging market, gradually replacing high-price, non-environmentally friendly packaging materials such as traditional aluminum foil and laminated cards. Some experts predict that vacuum aluminum-plated paper (card) will become the darling of the packaging industry in China, and the market prospects are very optimistic.

First, the advantages of vacuum aluminum paper

Vacuum aluminum-plated paper is a recyclable and degradable packaging material for aluminum foil composite paperboard and PET film-coated paperboard. Aluminum foil composite paper is a compound paperboard formed by compounding aluminum foil with paperboard. It is gradually replaced by vacuum aluminum paper because of its high production cost and non-environmental protection. Vacuum aluminum-plated paper has the advantage that aluminum foil composite paper can't be compared with. It is embodied as follows:

1. It has excellent folding endurance and good toughness. Needle holes and cracks are rarely found, and there is no soft cracking phenomenon. Therefore, the oxygen barrier property is also superior, which is sensitive to packaging and easy-to-taste products, as well as keeping The appearance of beauty is important.

2. Some films may not be plated so that consumers can see the contents.

3, greatly reducing the cost of production. Due to the vacuum aluminum plating technology, the thickness of the aluminum layer is less than 1/200 of the composite card, and the base film can be used repeatedly (6 to 8 times).

4, environmental protection and health: aluminum foil gold and silver cardboard, PET composite paperboard has become a high-quality packaging materials with good decorative performance and anti-counterfeiting performance, but they are non-environmental materials. Aluminum foil gold and silver cardboard is a composite product of aluminum foil and paper, aluminum foil thickness is 7μm, it can not be recycled as aluminum products, can not be recycled as paper, can not be burned, is not conducive to environmental protection. PET composite paperboard is a composite product of aluminized film and paper. Because plastic film cannot be degraded, it is not conducive to environmental protection. Aluminum-coated paper is due to the use of the least aluminum material, so the aluminum-coated paper is easy to handle and recycled, and it is an environmentally friendly product. In addition, the raw and auxiliary materials used in the production of aluminized paper are odorless and non-toxic, conform to the US FDA standards and are hygienic.

5. Anti-counterfeit: Vacuum aluminum-plated paper is easy to laser holographic processing, vacuum aluminum-plated paper after treatment is called laser spray aluminum paper (referred to as laser paper). The laser sprayed aluminum paper is formed by loading a laser holographic pattern or text signal onto the surface of the sprayed aluminum paper by means of molding. The laser brightness of the laser sprayed aluminum paper is several times stronger than that of a conventional laser packaging machine'target=_blank>transparent film, and the laser pattern cannot be wiped off. Moreover, the laser sprayed aluminum paper has a relatively complicated production process, high technological content, and large investment in equipment. Making fake and shoddy products prohibitive, so laser spray aluminum paper has a very good security.

6, to solve the technical problems of the use of traditional aluminum foil, aluminum foldability in many applications is a drawback. For the beer label, there is a more unfavorable aspect. When the label of the winery is washed away from the bottle, the alkaline soda solution reacts with aluminum to generate hydrogen gas, and in severe cases it will cause an explosion. Aluminized paper is produced in the same way as the film, but the coating is ultra-thin, so that the use of such an ultra-thin aluminum coating not only does not cause wrinkles, but also reduces the amount of aluminum washed down by the beer standard washing machine to 1/1. 250, there will be no case of explosion caused by the generation of hydrogen.

Second, vacuum aluminum plating paper production process

Vacuum aluminum-plated paper is heated in a high vacuum resistance, high frequency or electron beam, so that the aluminum wire is heated to about 1400 °C vaporized and then attached to the paper base formed. Vacuum aluminum-plated paper according to the production process can be divided into direct (aluminum paper surface) and transfer method (film surface spray aluminum) two. The direct method is a method in which the base paper is directly placed into a vacuum aluminum-plating machine to perform aluminum spraying after the surface treatment of the base paper. This method has a high requirement for paper, and is suitable for a coated paper of 40 to 120 g/m2 of coated paper, whiteboard paper, and cardboard. Process shown in Figure 1 (slightly).

The process features are:

1, the use of direct production of vacuum aluminum paper, the process flow is short, the surface has a strong metal texture, smooth, bright, uniform color;
2, the product's printing adaptability, can be used for gravure, offset printing, silk screen, UV printing;
3, the process can produce any pattern and text of laser anti-counterfeiting vacuum aluminum paper;
4, using the direct method to produce for 40 ~ 120g/m2 copper plate paper, white board paper, cattle cardboard, etc.;
5. The thickness of vacuum aluminum-plated paper aluminum produced by the direct method is only 0.02-0.04 μm (200-400 angstroms), which is in line with the requirements of environmental protection in various countries and is easy to recycle.

In the transfer method, pre-coating transfer coating and bonding layer (information layer) on PET, BOPP and other films are used for coating and coloring, and then the aluminum layer (or aluminum containing information layer) is subjected to vacuum aluminum plating, compounding, molding, peeling, and the like. Layer) is transferred to paper (or other substrate) and this method can produce 40-450 g/m2 of paper or paperboard. Process flow chart shown in Figure 2 (abbreviated).
