Analysis of Standard Substances in River Water and Cadmium in Tap Water Based on Flameless Atomic Absorption Method

According to Japan's "Provincial Decree on Partial Amendments to Water Quality Standards and Related Provincial Orders" (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order No. 18) (February 17, 2010), the standard of cadmium in tap water has been revised from 0.01 mg / L or less to 0.003 mg / L or less . The new standard has been implemented since April 1, 2010. In the new standard, the flame atomic absorption method is deleted from the past four analytical methods. The three analytical methods used are 1. Flameless atomic absorption method, 2. ICP emission spectrometry, 3. ICP mass spectrometry.
